Fostering a pet is a great way to get involved and have a direct impact in our effort to save animal lives in Oklahoma. We are limited to the amount of animals we can keep out of kill shelters & off of the euthanasia lists by the amount of foster homes we have open and available. To put it simply fostering saves lives! We always provide full vetting and upon request are happy to provide food & crates/bedding. All you have to do is provide shelter, love & transportation for the pet in your care.
If you have EVER considered fostering a pet...NOW is the time. Our local shelters are beyond max capacity and every rescue in town is getting multiple requests for intakes daily. We have every space and every foster we have full at the moment. If we have more temporary housing we can help save more lives. You can literally make a direct impact by simply agreeing to house an animal while we find them a furever spot. You can request certain breeds, size, cats or dogs only, etc just let us know what type of pet you are willing to house and we will find a placement for you if there is need out there and most likely there is!
*all pets in your home do need to be up to date on all vaccines and spayed/neutered for the safety of all pets. If you need access to low cost options for these we have a list of available local options.
